We saw snowflakes before we left the Grand Canyon village, it was snowing on the North Rim and we saw snow on the Painted Desert today. Weird weather everywhere this year.
On our way out we stopped at High Desert Lookout for one last glimpse of the Grand Canyon, and we were lucky, the sun came out for the few minutes we were there!
In the restroom a woman asked me if I'm UCC. (She saw my comma pin.) She was on another tour from Tennessee. She and her mother are both UCC pastors, but she's currently serving as a chaplain.
Once we were on the road again it began to rain. We traveled to the Cameron Trading Post where we ate lunch and looked around. Next it was on to the Glen Canyon Dam for a brief look...
We arrived at Lake Powell Resort at 3 pm and the bus was unloaded for our 2-day stay here.
At 4:00 we went on a cruise on Lake Powell, being thrilled and amazed by the beauty of Antelope Canyon.
After that amazing cruise, we dined in the resort's Rainbow Room, overlooking the lake.
